Starlight. Ellerhein Girls´ Choir traditional Christmas concert
Ellerhein Girls’ Choir invites everyone to their traditional Christmas concert at Niguliste Museum. Titled “Starlight,” the concert is inspired by composer Urmas Sisask and his astronomy-themed music. Sisask, who began writing star-inspired pieces in childhood, considered himself a transcriber of the music he perceived in the stars and planetary movements.
The program will feature works by composers celebrating anniversaries this year — Urmas Sisask, Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, and Olav Ehala — along with classics of choral music.
