Kumu Art Museum

Kumu is the main building of the Art Museum of Estonia, as well as one of the largest and most monumental exhibition venues in the country. The museum provides a survey of the various time periods of Estonian art: from the Academic Style to Modernism, from Soviet Pop Art to contemporary art. The modern architecture of the building is an attraction in its own right.

The female choir Carmina was established in the mid-winter of 1989 in Tallinn. Now in our 35th season the choir consists of 22 singers. Carmina was founded by the conductor Margit Võsa. Since its birth, our choir has sung in all the Estonian Song Festivals, as well as in the song festivals and grand projects organised by the Estonian Female Choir Association (ENLS).

Each Saturday and Sunday, starting at 4 pm, traditional organ music performances take place in the museum. Classical and modern organ music is played by the Niguliste Museum organists Andres Uibo and Tiit Kiik.
