The concert will feature Nordic music for organ, violin and kandel through the ages. The program includes both new commissioned works and earlier Estonian music, including the works of Cyrillus Kreek, Arvo Pärt, Toomas Tuulse and Malle Maltis.

Performers will be James D. Hicks (organ), Hedi Viisma (kandel) and Kaidi Ugandi (violin).

The concert is a musical reflection on being Estonian and Nordic. In the Niguliste Great Hall, the main organ and choir organ, played by organist James D. Hicks from California, create a special soundscape. His series “Nordic Journey” brings listeners both new works by Northern European composers and lesser-known works from earlier eras.

The event is part of the programme of the 44th Tallinn Old Town Days festival.
